This foundation was established to improve the quality of life and living conditions of the orphans, widows and the most vulnerable of the society. The NGO draws its inspiration from the charitable heart of late Mrs. Agnes Omojo Ekele, who lived her entire life caring for the needs of the less privilege and the most vulnerable in the society. Her kind heartedness inspired the daughter, a founding member of AOE Memorial Foundation, Miss Patience Ojochide Ekele to continue her good work. What looked like emulating her mother’s generosity and kind heartedness towards the poor and the most vulnerable, by giving everyday assistance, snowballed into a vision of setting up an organization that will drive and enlarge the scope of late Mrs. Agnes Omojo Ekele legacies.

The moment the vision came, Miss Patience Ojochide Ekele ran with it by celebrating her birthday with the less privilege, where modest provisions ranging from food items to clothing were giving. Taking the dream further, individuals of like minds, who love her vision, were brought to partner with her. This gave birth to AOE Memorial Foundation.

As an NGO, AOE Memorial Foundation aims to focus on education (Girl child education), health, social amenities and entrepreneurship.
